Changwon City Announces Promotion Personnel for the First Half of 2020
Mass Promotion of Female Officials, Preferential Promotion for Multi-Child Public Servants, and Bold Merit-Based Appointments
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] Changwon City conducted promotions and personnel transfers for executives at grade 4 and above on the 7th.
Through this personnel action, 186 promotions were made (1 at grade 3, 6 at grade 4, 26 at grade 5, 105 at grade 6, and 48 at grade 7), along with transfers for 8 executives at grade 4 and above. Notable aspects of this personnel move include ▲a significant increase in the appointment of female section chiefs ▲preferential promotion for civil servants with multiple children ▲consideration for minority job categories such as social welfare, green spaces, civil engineering, and architecture.
In line with Mayor Heo Seong-mu's pledge for gender equality, among the 26 promoted section chiefs, 12 are female civil servants. Civil servants with three or more children were granted promotion performance bonuses, resulting in the promotion of a total of 10 multi-child civil servants: 3 at grade 5 and 7 at grade 6. Personnel transfers for civil servants below grade 5 are scheduled for the 17th.
