Dobong Cultural Information Library 'The Mouse Inside the Book' New Year Special Exhibition
2019 Age Group Popular Loaned Books Exhibition '2019 Books Loved by Culture Information Users' ... Children's and Adult Books Featuring Mice Exhibition 'The Mouse Inside the Book'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) will hold a New Year's special exhibition throughout January at the Dobong Cultural Information Library.
The exhibition will be operated under two themes: "Books Loved by Cultural Information Users in 2019" and "The Mouse in the Book," featuring mice to commemorate the Year of the White Rat.
In the "Books Loved by Cultural Information Users in 2019" exhibition, the top 10 most borrowed books in 2019 are introduced by age group (children, adolescents, 20s-30s, 40s-50s, 60 and above).
Among them, the top three books are presented with brief reviews. "Bonjour, Tour" (children), "River Boy" (adolescents), "People Harmless to Me" (20s-30s), "(Latest Edition) Mencius with Annotations" (40s-50s), and "(Meeting) Body Study through Humanities" (60 and above) were selected as the number one books for each age group.
Additionally, the "Mouse in the Book" exhibition introduces six books each for children and adults featuring mice, in celebration of the Year of the White Rat.
Children's books include "The Story of the White Mouse," "The Country Mouse and French Fries," and "The Mouse of the Rose Villa," while adult books include the "Mouse Series," "Let's Catch the Mouse," and "The King of Mice."
The books introduced in the exhibition can be found at the Dobong Cultural Information Library's reference room and through interlibrary loan at the Dobong-gu Integrated Public Library.
