On the same day, Yoon posted on his Facebook, stating, "I have resigned from the Blue House where I have been working."
He continued, "This is a very different task from before. It is about fully establishing myself," adding, "A new beginning always excites the heart. At the same time, I am also afraid of causing inconvenience to many people."
Finally, Yoon said, "I will start humbly but passionately," and added, "I ask you to be a warm companion on that path."
Earlier, Yoon served as the head of the National Planning Situation Room for 2 years and 8 months since the launch of the Moon Jae-in administration and recently submitted his resignation.
Meanwhile, on the same day, the Blue House reorganized the staff organization and functions in preparation for the second half of the administration, adjusting the duties and affiliations of some secretaries and creating new secretary positions and posts.

After Yoon's resignation, the National Planning Situation Room will be downsized to the National Situation Room, responsible for grasping the overall situation and trends of state affairs. Instead, the existing Speech Planning Secretary will be changed to Planning Secretary, responsible for establishing the national operation policy and planning tasks.
