Secured a Budget of 92.68 Million Won Through Public Contest... Expecting to Provide Many Jobs to Residents
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) was selected in the 2020 Ministry of Employment and Labor public contest for the ‘Senior Career-type Job Project.’
The Senior Career-type Job Project is a job initiative that utilizes the careers and expertise of seniors aged 50 to under 70. Local governments discover and propose projects, which the government reviews and supports.
Eunpyeong-gu secured a budget of 92.68 million KRW with one project selected in this contest.
The selected project is the ‘Senior Dementia Prevention Program Support Project,’ which dispatches dementia prevention instructors to care facilities to support dementia prevention programs for the elderly.
