[Breaking News] Preliminary Fine Dust Reduction Measures Implemented for 3 Days... Public Vehicle 2-Day Rotation System Enforced
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Ministry of Environment announced on the 2nd that it will implement preliminary fine dust reduction measures across Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province on the 3rd.
Preliminary reduction measures are proactive fine dust reduction actions targeting the public sector one day in advance when there is a high possibility of emergency reduction measures being implemented the day after tomorrow (the 4th).
According to the issuance of preliminary reduction measures, a vehicle restriction system based on odd-even license plates will be enforced on employees of administrative and public institutions located in the three metropolitan cities and provinces from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow (the 3rd). Fifteen private workplaces in the metropolitan area that have voluntary agreements with the Ministry of Environment will also implement their own reduction measures.
