Fire Agency Recruiting Mandatory Firefighters... Deployment After Basic Military and Fire Training
[Asia Economy Reporter Osangdo] The National Fire Agency will accept applications for the 34th Mandatory Firefighter exam from the 3rd to the 9th.
The exam will be held with physical tests from the 24th to the 29th of next month, a written test in April, and personality and interview tests in May. The final successful candidates will be posted on the Central Fire Academy website in June. Those selected through the mandatory firefighter exam will undergo 4 weeks of basic military training and 4 weeks of firefighting practical training before being assigned to frontline fire departments.
The number of recruits is 125 each for the 68th and 69th classes, totaling 250. Applicants must be South Korean men aged between 18 and 28 who have not completed military service.
