TWICE, New Year Greetings... "Let's Overcome 2020 Well"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Ju-hyung] Girl group TWICE sent New Year's greetings through social networking services (SNS).
On the afternoon of the 1st, TWICE posted a video on their official Instagram account with the message, "ONCE, let's get through 2020 well together."
The released video shows the group members sending New Year's greetings to ONCE (TWICE's fan club). The members smile at the camera saying, "Happy New Year."
Meanwhile, TWICE's agency JYP Entertainment announced a strong response regarding an overseas stalker who caused a disturbance on an airplane while trying to approach member Nayeon that day.
JYP explained through their official website, "On a flight returning from Japan, an overseas stalker of member Nayeon was on board and continuously attempted to approach the member, causing a major commotion on the plane. Immediate action was taken, and fortunately, there was no direct harm to the artist, but she expressed considerable discomfort and anxiety."
They added, "The police are currently protecting Nayeon's safety regarding this matter. We will take the strongest possible legal measures against the stalker involved."
