The two visited the football field at Sinbuk-eup Sports Park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, to greet fans in person. RM appeared wearing sunglasses and playing the saxophone, while V showed up with a bright smile, holding a bouquet of flowers.
"There were difficult and tough times, but thanks to the soldiers, we realized we could carry out our activities with peace of mind."
"I worry about the remaining juniors, but I hope we all meet again in society in good health."
"Thank you to ARMY (fandom name) for waiting."
"I will proudly resume activities as BTS RM in society."
The first thing both of them want to do after discharge is to perform on stage
RM said, "I will work hard on my album and return to the stage."
"There are still officers and soldiers who have taken good care of me, so I hope they train safely without getting injured and complete their service safely."
"Thank you for taking good care of me. I will go out into society and work hard to become a respectable person."
"I was able to discipline my body and mind through military service."
"I want to run to the ARMY as soon as possible, but please wait a little longer and I will return with an impressive performance."
RM enlisted in the Army's 15th Division military band in December 2023, while V joined the 2nd Corps Military Police Special Task Force on the same day. Both have now completed their service.
Previously, Jin and J-Hope were discharged in June and October last year, respectively. Jimin and Jungkook are scheduled to be discharged on June 11. Suga, who is serving as a social service worker, is expected to complete his service on June 21.
