Mr. Kim stated, "Over the past four years, I highly appreciate the many changes and achievements that Mayor Lee has realized together with Yongin City officials. The citizens of Yongin are well aware of how Mayor Lee has laid the foundation for Yongin to become a global semiconductor hub and how hard he has worked to resolve numerous local challenges."

Given the great significance of this local election, I ask you to continue to trust in the citizens, focus solely on them, and do your utmost until the end."
In response, candidate Sangil Lee said, "I sincerely thank the respected Prime Minister for personally coming to Yongin and offering warm encouragement and advice. While my opponent seems to rely on and leverage political power in their campaign, I, as you advised, will trust only the citizens and listen to as many of their voices as possible by meeting with more people."
