The Garibong 2 District Redevelopment and Maintenance Project will be carried out on a 41,515-square-meter site. It will include 11 apartment buildings with 1,214 households, ranging from three basement levels to 34 stories above ground, along with auxiliary welfare facilities. Of these, 283 units are planned as rental housing.
The target site has continuously raised the need for residential environment improvement due to the concentration of old houses and a lack of infrastructure. Residents can walk to Namguro Station on Subway Line 7 and Gasan Digital Complex Station, which is an interchange station for Lines 1 and 7. The area is also adjacent to the Nambu Beltway.
Garibong 2 District has secured the consent of approximately 77% of land and property owners and plans to proceed with the association establishment approval process after the inaugural general meeting. The district office will review subsequent procedures, such as the approval for the association’s establishment, in accordance with relevant laws and procedures, and will continue to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth progress of the redevelopment project.
