This market featured participation from 12 farms affiliated with the Hanam City Local Food Shipping Association, offering over 20 types of agricultural products, including lettuce, spinach, chives, green onions, and zucchini. All items were sold at a uniform price of 2,000 won per bag, allowing citizens to purchase fresh local produce at affordable prices. The event venue was bustling with citizens visiting the market from early in the morning, generating an enthusiastic response.
In particular, this direct market is scheduled to be held regularly from May to November, on the third Tuesday of every month, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., although the location may change depending on circumstances. Through regular operation, the city plans to provide local farms with stable sales channels and to offer citizens ongoing opportunities to access high-quality local agricultural products nearby.
One citizen who visited the market commented, "I am satisfied that I can see and purchase fresh local produce at a reasonable price," and added, "I hope this kind of direct market will be held more often in the future."
