Standard Chartered Bank Korea Hosts 'Seri Park Masterclass' for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Clients
Sharing Business Inspiration and Insights through 'Thinking Leadership'
Preparing a Global Future Leader Program for PB Clients' Children
On May 20, Standard Chartered Bank Korea announced that it successfully held a 'Masterclass' event on May 15, inviting ultra-high-net-worth individuals and prospective clients with assets of at least 1 billion won, together with the world-renowned golf legend, Director Seri Park.
The Masterclass is part of Standard Chartered Bank Korea’s private banking (PB) 'Thinking Leadership' program, designed to share insights from top leaders in various fields and offer practical inspiration and benefits for the business decision-making of high-net-worth clients.
This Masterclass was the first to be held since the launch of the PB model and featured Director Park, who is the first client of the Standard Chartered Bank Korea PB Center. The highlight of the event was an exclusive one-point lesson given to selected clients through a live on-site drawing. Director Park provided meticulous analysis and personalized coaching for the guests’ swings. She also offered in-depth insights into golf with detailed explanations for the rest of the attending clients.
Standard Chartered Bank Korea further explained that the event featured a range of programs—including additional one-point lessons with renowned golf professionals, mini games and award ceremonies, and a dinner—providing guests with a high-quality and satisfying networking experience.
Having successfully completed this customized program for high-net-worth individuals, Standard Chartered Bank Korea now plans to take a step further by expanding its differentiated experiences into the area of children’s education, which is a top concern for wealthy clients. To that end, Standard Chartered Bank Korea will hold the 2026 Global Future Leader Program (GFLP) at its head office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, from July 31 to August 2, specifically for the children of high-net-worth clients.
Under the theme of 'Next Generation,' this event is a global program in which current students from the prestigious universities of Oxford and Cambridge in the United Kingdom will participate directly as mentors.
The participating students will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking, inquiry skills, and problem-solving approaches in depth, while expanding their perspective as future global leaders. Furthermore, they will be able to select a specialized track—natural sciences and engineering, medicine, social sciences, or humanities—according to their own aptitudes and interests, and experience a professional curriculum.
Applications for the program will be accepted from June 1 to 30, and a total of 40 middle and high school students, who are children of Standard Chartered Bank Korea clients with deposits exceeding 500 million won, will be selected.
