BTS V's 'Christmas Tree' Surpasses 500 Million Streams on Spotify
Big Hit Music announced on May 19 that "Christmas Tree," the soundtrack for the drama "Our Beloved Summer" sung by BTS member V, has surpassed 500 million cumulative streams on the music platform Spotify.
With this achievement, V now has five songs that have each surpassed 500 million streams: "Love Me Again," "Winter Ahead," "FRI(END)S," "Slow Dancing," and "Christmas Tree."
The song, released on December 24, 2021, became the first Korean drama soundtrack to enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart, ranking at number 79. It also topped the Billboard "Holiday Digital Song Sales" and "Digital Song Sales" charts and ranked 55th on the "Holiday Hot 100."

V is the only Korean artist to have three songs reach number one on the Billboard "Holiday Digital Song Sales" chart. In addition to "Christmas Tree," both "White Christmas" and "Winter Ahead" have also topped this chart.
