Ministry of SMEs and Startups Recruits Companies for "Korea Post International Logistics Service Support Program"
International Logistics Services Including EMS, EMS Premium, and K-Packet
Up to 10 Million Won in Support for Companies with Over USD 10,000 in Exports Last Year
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 19th that it is recruiting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the "Support Program for Using Korea Post's International Logistics Services."
This program is a joint initiative between the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Korea Post, designed to ease the export logistics burden of SMEs by partially subsidizing the costs of using Korea Post's international logistics services.
Eligible companies are SMEs that use (or plan to use) Korea Post's international logistics services and have recorded export performance of at least USD 10,000 in the previous year. Each company can receive support of up to 10 million won.
Participating companies can receive a pre-discount of up to 40% on Korea Post's international logistics service rates, as well as an additional 30% subsidy from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (through the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency), calculated based on the standard price before discounts.
For the convenience of SMEs, support funds will be provided monthly based on actual service usage, without the need for a separate payment application when participating companies use Korea Post's logistics services.
Applications for participation will be accepted from May 20 to June 5. Detailed information can be found on the Gobiz Korea website.
