250,000 People Visited Suwon's 'Manseokgeo Saebit Festival'
It has been reported that more than 250,000 people visited the '2026 Manseokgeo Saebit Festival,' which was held around Manseokgeo in Jangan-gu, Suwon, from April 3 to April 12 of this year.
Suwon City has been hosting the Manseokgeo Saebit Festival since 2024 to widely promote the value of Manseokgeo, a World Heritage Irrigation Facility, and to invigorate night tourism. This year's festival was planned as the flagship night tourism festival to mark the beginning of the '2026 Visit Suwon Year.'
The drone and fireworks show, which was introduced for the first time this year, was considered the highlight of the festival. The multidimensional production, which combined drones, a musical fountain, and fireworks, received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
The number of fireworks shows was increased from one to two, and a new drone show utilizing 500 drones was launched. Busking performances were also expanded from one to six times, offering visitors a richer variety of attractions.
