Expansion of Busduct Supply for Data Centers
Gaon Cable achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales and operating profit in the first quarter.
On May 15, Gaon Cable announced that for the first quarter of 2026, it recorded sales of 763.6 billion won and operating profit of 27.8 billion won.
Sales and operating profit increased by 19.4% and 27.2%, respectively, compared to 639.3 billion won and 21.9 billion won in the same period last year. Both figures set new record highs for the first quarter, demonstrating simultaneous growth in both scale and profitability.
This performance was driven by increased exports resulting from the expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers in the United States, as well as the full-fledged growth of Gaon Cable’s U.S. manufacturing subsidiary, LSCUS.
LSCUS is expanding its supply of busducts for AI data centers operated by major big tech companies in the U.S. The company expects busduct sales to grow significantly, from hundreds of billions of won last year to several trillions of won this year.
