In response to these suggestions, Lee provided detailed answers and said, "We will reflect the diverse opinions of young people in our policies." As pledges for youth, he promised: a "coming-of-age congratulatory grant" of 300,000 won in Hanam currency (Hamoney) to young people turning 20 in Hanam; annual youth transportation subsidies of 240,000 won for those aged 19 to 23; educational subsidies of 2 million won for unemployed youth; childbirth incentives ranging from 2 million won for the first and second child up to a maximum of 20 million won; and the establishment of a "Youth Foundation" to address the various challenges faced by teenagers and young adults.
He also said, "To support youth housing stability, I will actively propose to LH (Korea Land and Housing Corporation) the supply of youth housing in the Gyosan District, and will further expand youth monthly rent support and interest loan assistance for newlyweds." He added, "For the development of the city, we need the manpower of Hanam's youth, and I hope young people will propose good policies."
