The Munmu the Great Maritime History Museum, established to shed new light on King Munmu, who achieved the unification of the Three Kingdoms, officially opened and began full operations on the 15th.
The Munmu the Great Maritime History Museum is a comprehensive historical and cultural complex that widely promotes the patriotic and people-oriented spirit of King Munmu, the 30th ruler of Silla, as well as the historical value of Silla’s pioneering maritime spirit. It highlights the strengths of Silla’s maritime culture, which developed around the East Sea.

The first floor features a special exhibition hall, a King Munmu experience media zone, the Bada Nuri Room, a cafeteria, and a souvenir shop, providing both convenience and interactive experiences for visitors.
The second floor houses the King Munmu history exhibition hall (immersive video room) and the Silla Maritime Silk Road exhibition hall (interactive video room).
