Nine Forest Trails of the Joseon Royal Tombs Open to the Public

The Royal Palaces and Tombs Center of the National Heritage Administration will open nine forest trails of the Joseon Royal Tombs to the public from May 16 to June 30, 2026.
The trails include Donggureung in Guri, Gwangneung in Namyangju, Sareung in Namyangju, Taereung and Gangneung in Seoul, Uireung in Seoul, Jangneung in Paju, the Tombs of King Yong and King Geon in Hwaseong, Samneung in Paju, and the Tombs of King Yeong and King Yeong in Yeoju, with a total length of 19.59 kilometers.

The opening hours are the same as the royal tomb viewing hours: in May, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; in June, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The trails are closed on Mondays.
