Uijeongbu City Begins Recruiting for 'AI Advanced Technology Education Program'... Accelerating the Development of Practical AI Talent

View original imageThis program is designed as a step-by-step, customized practical training to meet the growing demand for AI transformation in local industries and to strengthen the employment and entrepreneurship capabilities of citizens. The program will begin with basic training in May and June, followed by advanced training for those currently employed in July and August. In October, outstanding trainees will be offered one-on-one mentoring sessions with representatives from large and medium-sized enterprises. Through this, the city aims to build a solid foundation for growth tailored to participants’ AI proficiency and needs.
The first stage, the basic training course, consists of six sessions in total. Sessions 1 to 3 will be held on May 30, and sessions 4 to 6 will take place on June 13 at the Digital Seminar Room of the Uijeongbu City Education Foundation. The main content covers practical, productivity-oriented topics such as understanding generative AI concepts, using AI tools, and hands-on exercises to enhance work efficiency.
Eligible applicants for the basic training include the general public, university students, aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and corporate employees who are interested in improving productivity and competitiveness through the adoption and utilization of AI. Applications can be submitted through the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy & Innovation website until 3:00 p.m. on May 29.
