30 Aspiring Job Seekers Visit DAS Gyeongju Research Center, Leading Automotive Parts Company
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Park Changdal) and the Korea Industrial Technology Association (Chairman Koo Ja-kyun) held a corporate visit program on May 13, 2026, at the DAS Gyeongju Research Center in Gyeongju. The purpose was to strengthen practical job-seeking skills among young people and to enhance their understanding of outstanding local companies.
The Korea Student Aid Foundation operates the “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Job-linked Scholarship (Hope Ladder Type I)” program, which aims to help university students aspiring to join excellent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs and mid-sized companies) and to alleviate workforce shortages for companies looking to hire talented individuals.

Through this corporate visit to the DAS Gyeongju Research Center, young job seekers had the opportunity to tour the research center and major facilities, allowing them to closely experience the process of developing automotive parts technologies.
In particular, to facilitate practical job placement, the program expanded recruitment to include not only Hope Ladder Type I scholarship recipients but also general students and graduates whose majors are needed by the research center. The 30 selected participants were able to gain valuable employment information—such as essential job competencies—through dedicated recruitment briefings and communication sessions with current employees ahead of upcoming hiring activities.
