On May 11, KOSME announced that it held an inauguration ceremony for its "Corporate Evaluation Experts (Masters)" at the main conference hall of its headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam.

KOSME selected 47 internal employees with extensive on-site evaluation experience from its 34 regional headquarters and branches nationwide as "Corporate Evaluation Experts (Masters)" and presented them with certificates of appointment.

The appointed experts consist of on-site professionals with both expertise and evaluation capabilities, including those with master's or doctoral degrees and employees with a cumulative record of more than 1,000 evaluation cases. The experts (masters) who attended the inauguration ceremony pledged to carry out their work fairly based on their expertise and reaffirmed their commitment to integrity.

For the next year, the selected experts (masters) will play a key role in disseminating and internalizing evaluation know-how throughout the organization. They will enhance the agency's overall evaluation capabilities by mentoring internal staff and providing on-the-job training (OJT) based on their corporate evaluation experience. They will also serve as a bridge, identifying the difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and connecting them with appropriate support.

KOSME operates an integrated system of data-driven evaluation models, skilled evaluators, and assessment frameworks to select promising companies as part of its SME support initiatives, such as policy fund lending programs. The agency is continuously advancing its proprietary, data-based evaluation system to discover companies with high growth potential and technological excellence.

Sukjin Kang, Chairman of KOSME, stated, "The starting point for supporting SMEs is fair and trustworthy corporate evaluation. We will further advance our evaluation system based on data-driven methods and the on-site expertise of our masters, ensuring that the necessary support is provided in a timely manner to the field."
