He added, "Going beyond simple subsidy support, I am determined to complete a self-sustaining megacity of one million residents free from worries about old age, through a welfare innovation that combines AI technology and public management systems."
The main details include: ▲ Upgrading the Hope Care Center to an 'Integrated Care Support Center' and establishing an AI-based crisis response system; ▲ Establishing a new senior welfare center in the southern region; ▲ Expanding smart senior centers and providing health consultation support; ▲ Offering free packages of safety items such as smartwatches for those diagnosed with dementia; ▲ Expanding the jurisdiction of dementia relief centers; ▲ Introducing a 'quasi-public municipal nursing home system,' in which the city directly manages private nursing homes.
In particular, the "quasi-public nursing home system," which is being attempted for the first time nationwide, is a model in which the city provides operating expenses and directly manages personnel, accounting, and services to raise the quality of private facilities to the level of public institutions.
