SKT Vows to Restore Performance and Maintain Dividend Levels Seen in Previous Years
At the Conference Call,
"Aiming for Stable Dividends"
SK Telecom has announced that it will strive to pay dividends at levels similar to previous years by achieving a recovery in performance this year.
Jongseok Park, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SK Telecom, said during the first quarter earnings conference call on May 7, "The first quarter dividend has resumed at 830 won, which is in line with previous years," adding, "I would like to sincerely thank all shareholders for their understanding and patience."
Park emphasized, "We plan to ensure that dividends are paid stably this year as well through performance recovery. We will do our utmost to execute dividends at levels comparable to previous years."
Regarding the annual dividend amount, he added, "The board of directors will discuss and decide on it, taking into account management performance and the financial structure, once the results are finalized."

Park also stated, "At the shareholders' meeting last March, we converted 1.7 trillion won of capital reserves into retained earnings to enable tax-free dividends. Tax-free dividends will be possible starting with the year-end dividend this year in accordance with relevant laws."
