On this day, President Trump stated on his social networking service, Truth Social, "We made this decision in consideration of requests from other countries including Pakistan, the tremendous successes we have achieved in military operations against Iran, and significant progress toward a complete and final agreement with the Iranian delegation."
President Trump added, "We have mutually agreed to fully maintain the blockade, but to temporarily suspend 'Project Freedom' in order to review the possibility of finalizing and signing an agreement."
