[6.3 Election] Gangjin County Governor Candidate Cha Youngsu Launches "One Team" Initiative with Min Hyungbae
Unified City Policy and Cooperation in Agreement
Min Hyungbae, the Democratic Party’s candidate for Mayor of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Unified Special City, and Cha Youngsu, the Democratic Party’s candidate for Gangjin County Governor, have begun a “one team cooperation” initiative for the development of Gangjin in the era of Jeonnam and Gwangju integration.
On April 28, Candidate Cha visited Candidate Min’s campaign office to discuss the process of promoting the Jeonnam-Gwangju Unified Special City and explore ways to cooperate for Gangjin’s development in the upcoming integrated era.
During their meeting, the two candidates agreed that Gangjin County should become a key hub for balanced regional development in the integrated Jeonnam-Gwangju era and that new opportunities for progress must be created through policy, budget, and administrative cooperation at the unified city level.

He emphasized, “Gangjin’s future cannot be secured through isolated county administration. For Gangjin to progress, the county government must stay connected with the central government and broader regional administrations. If I am elected County Governor, I will work with Candidate Min Hyungbae to establish a unified city-level network for policy and budget cooperation, leading Gangjin to a new leap forward.”
