On April 28, BNK Kyongnam Bank held the 'CHAIN-G Program 3rd Cohort Launch Ceremony' at the K-Entrepreneurship Center in Jinju (located in Jisu-myeon, Jinju City).

The launch ceremony was attended by Kim Taehan, President of BNK Kyongnam Bank, the CEOs of the 17 startups selected for the third cohort of the CHAIN-G Program, Park Ildong, Deputy Mayor of Jinju City, representatives from partner organizations such as Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Busan-Gyeongnam Training Institute of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and Gyeongsang National University Startup Campus, as well as officials from Kiraboshi Bank in Tokyo, Japan, Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC), and Y&Archer.

President Kim Taehan exchanged opinions with the startup representatives on the 2026 CHAIN-G Program and listened to their challenges in business operations.

In his welcoming remarks, President Kim Taehan said, "Through the 'CHAIN-G' program, which is named to reflect the concepts of connection and growth, BNK Kyongnam Bank is creating a virtuous cycle within the startup ecosystem. We aim to be a strong partner so that your ideas can yield results and expand into larger markets for further growth. Today's ceremony is more than just an orientation; it is a moment to recognize each other's potential and take the first step toward collaboration. I hope you receive plenty of positive energy here in Jinju, known as the 'capital of Korean entrepreneurship,' where the founders of Korea’s four major global companies grew up."

Afterwards, President Kim Taehan and the participants moved outdoors in front of the "Buja Pine Tree" at the K-Entrepreneurship Center, where they held a "Magic Tree Performance" to wish for the growth and development of the startups selected for the third cohort of the CHAIN-G Program.

Beginning with this launch ceremony, the CHAIN-G Program’s third cohort startups will participate in a variety of support programs provided by BNK Kyongnam Bank for approximately nine months.

Meanwhile, the CHAIN-G Program is BNK Kyongnam Bank’s startup nurturing initiative that selects high-potential startups from the early to growth stages and provides customized support such as investment attraction, business model advancement, market development, and networking opportunities.

Starting with the inaugural CHAIN-G Program in 2024, the scope of connection has been further expanded through startup support agreements with local governments, institutions related to startups, and regionally focused universities.
