Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 28th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Venture Business Association for the discovery and development of outstanding venture companies.

View original imageAccording to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to identify promising venture companies at an early stage, nurture their growth, and support their successful listing on KOSDAQ, thereby contributing to the development of venture companies and the activation of the capital market. Korea Investment & Securities will provide IPO consulting and listing strategy roadmaps to help venture companies with excellent technology and growth potential. In addition, the company will offer programs such as education, forums, and seminars for member companies of the Korea Venture Business Association.

The signing ceremony, held in the morning at the Korea Investment & Securities headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, was attended by Kim Sung-hwan, President of Korea Investment & Securities; Kim Kwang-ok, Head of the Investment Banking Group; Bang Han-cheol, Head of IB Division 1; Song Byung-joon, Chairman of the Korea Venture Business Association; and Lee Jae-nam, Head of Corporate Support, as well as other key officials from both organizations. President Kim Sung-hwan stated, "I hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity for our venture companies with innovative technologies to be properly recognized for their value in the capital market and make further progress," adding, "Korea Investment & Securities will continue to fully utilize its professional financial capabilities to support the growth of promising companies and to do its utmost to foster a healthy venture ecosystem."
