CEO Kang stated, "HP IQ focuses on collaboration and multi-party connectivity," and highlighted, "Based on a portfolio that spans the entire office environment, including PCs and printers, HP is shaping the 'future of work' where each device is interconnected as an intelligent system." The local, on-device AI platform 'HP IQ' automatically recognizes connectivity between devices and links work processes based on the user's context. In particular, the 'Nearsense' feature of HP IQ displays nearby devices, enabling users to share files and start meetings seamlessly.

View original imageOn this day, HP also unveiled its diversified commercial PC portfolio, allowing customers to choose devices tailored to their work styles and roles. The HP EliteBook X G2 AI PC supports up to 85 TOPS (trillion operations per second) neural processing unit (NPU), making it an AI PC well-suited for mobile work environments with its 28-hour battery and always-connected functionality. Through collaboration with various software partners, it offers AI features applicable to real work tasks such as document creation and content production. Byeonghong So, Executive Director of HP Korea, explained, "We expect the use of AI inference at the edge (devices where data is actually generated and used, not the cloud) to increase by 50% by 2030," adding, "We will support the use of AI through endpoint products such as desktops and notebooks."
Additionally, HP introduced the HP EliteBook 8 G2 series for collaboration-oriented users, the HP EliteBook 6 G2 series suited for corporate and public sector environments, the HP ProBook 4 G2 series for small and medium-sized businesses, and the HP EliteDesk 8 G2 series for desktop workspaces.
The company also unveiled a workstation computing platform portfolio that allows large-scale data processing and AI model execution in local environments. This includes the HP Z8 Fury G6i desktop workstation, optimized for AI development, simulation, and rendering, and the HP ZBook X G2i series, which enables work on the go.

HP plans to further enhance its AI workstations and on-device AI platforms. In particular, it aims to support connectivity between hardware such as headsets, printers, docking stations, and displays with the HP IQ service.
