Celebrating its 29th edition this year, the KB Good Job Job Fair is the largest of its kind in the country, attracting a cumulative total of 1.25 million visitors. More than 6,200 companies have participated, and over 45,000 job seekers have found new employment opportunities through the event, establishing it as a leading job brand that contributes to youth employment and the spread of a culture of shared growth with mid-sized and small enterprises.
About 250 recruiting companies, including large corporate partners, KOSDAQ-listed companies, youth-friendly small giants, and outstanding member companies from related organizations, participated in the fair to introduce high-quality job opportunities to young job seekers.
The fair supported participants’ job search activities through various programs, including: ▲ Recruitment counseling centers from four KB Financial Group affiliates (banking, securities, non-life insurance, and card); ▲ A 'Career Solution Zone' offering comprehensive job-seeking consulting and AI-powered employment literacy support; ▲ A 'Private Interview Room' providing independent spaces for in-depth interviews; ▲ Specialist employment lectures and company recruitment briefings; ▲ A military officer recruitment center; and ▲ A career experience center.
This year, the event newly operated the 'Team Fit Connect Zone' to reflect the latest recruitment trends where employers emphasize team compatibility in cultural integration. This zone was designed so job seekers could participate in interviews and consultations related to teamwork and collaboration skills, allowing them to assess their suitability for work roles.
Participating companies that hire full-time employees are eligible to receive hiring support funds of 1 million won per person, up to a maximum of 10 million won per year. Outstanding small and medium-sized companies that excel in job creation are offered preferential loan interest rates, with a maximum annual benefit of up to 1.3 percentage points. Additionally, interview support funds were given to the first 300 applicants.
Prior to the fair, KB Kookmin Bank operated the 'KB Good Job Employment School,' a six-month job competency enhancement program for over 100 vocational high school students nationwide. Even after the event, the bank plans to continue supporting participating companies with specialized talent matching services in collaboration with related organizations under the KB Good Job initiative.
Chairman Dalgon Lee stated, "The KB Good Job Job Fair is more than just an employment event; it is a valuable opportunity where young people and companies can discover each other's potential and value, and walk together toward tomorrow. The Commission for Shared Growth will continue its efforts to help SMEs secure human resources and strengthen workforce capabilities."
President Hwanju Lee said, "I hope this event will be a place of challenge and opportunity for young job seekers, and a venue for meetings and partnerships for recruiting companies. KB Kookmin Bank will continue to strive to become a 'lifelong financial partner for the people' through KB Good Job and a variety of other social contribution activities."
