Samhwa Paint Reaccredited as Internationally Recognized Testing Institution by KOLAS
Accredited in 17 Categories
Samhwa Paint Industrial announced on March 24 that it has been re-accredited as an internationally recognized testing institution by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS), which operates under the National Institute of Technology and Standards of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The areas for which Samhwa Paint received accreditation include six categories in mechanics and eleven in chemistry, totaling seventeen items. Since first being designated as an internationally recognized testing institution in 2013, Samhwa Paint has successfully passed three consecutive re-evaluations.
KOLAS accreditation is a system in which the government officially recognizes that a testing institution is capable of conducting conformity assessments in accordance with international standards. Test reports issued by Samhwa Paint will have the same legal effect domestically as in over 100 countries that are members of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
Samhwa Paint provides advanced testing and analysis services throughout the entire process, from product design to quality verification, leveraging precision analytical equipment and specialized personnel. By offering scientific solutions based on data related to quality issues at industrial sites, the company supports client firms in research and development, as well as in enhancing their quality competitiveness.
