Samcheok City Enhances Cave Tourism Service Quality with Cave Park 178 Development Project
Samcheok City, Gangwon Province, conducted specialized cave tourism service training for employees of the Daei Cave Tourist Center at Samcheok City Hall on March 18.
This training was designed to enhance capabilities required at the Hwanseon Cave and Daegeum Cave tourism sites to provide safer and higher-quality services to visitors. The program focused on practical fieldwork and included special lectures on cave geology, visitor service response training, emergency response drills, and industrial safety and health education.
As part of the Cave Park 178 development project, Samcheok City is promoting specialized tourism service training to establish a more stable and reliable tourism service system. The city is also conducting service, promotion, and interpretation education for residents of Daeiri Village, aiming to improve the quality of visitor engagement both inside and outside tourist attractions and enhance the overall standard of local tourism services, thereby revitalizing cave tourism.
