The building in question is a warehouse facility with a total floor area of 48,594.87 square meters, consisting of two underground floors and seven floors above ground. It was granted construction approval in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. In the past, during the construction approval process, the facility underwent multiple discussions, including resident complaints and legal disputes, before finally receiving approval for use.
On this day, Mayor Kwangdeok Joo, together with officials such as the head of the Beollae Administrative Welfare Center and other relevant public officials, thoroughly inspected both the interior and exterior of the facility, closely checking vehicle entry and exit routes as well as actual usage conditions. At the site, he emphasized that "the facility must be operated with citizen safety as the top priority, ensuring that nearby residents do not experience any inconvenience or danger in their daily lives."
Prior to this inspection, the city monitored the nearby traffic flow using a traffic control system. As a result, it was confirmed that the facility has been operating without any notable issues so far.
