On-site, services included the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) screenings, stress measurement using the Omnifit device, and individual counseling sessions. In particular, based on test results, information was provided to enable employees to access center services if needed. For high-risk individuals who require continuous management, the center plans to offer ongoing case management, including follow-up phone counseling and referrals for professional treatment.
Additionally, to help participants find moments of relaxation in their daily lives, the center distributed "Mind Care Kits," which received an enthusiastic response from participants.
One employee who participated in the counseling shared gratitude, saying, "Through the mental health screening, I learned about my current state of mind and appreciated the chance to talk about my concerns and take care of my mental health."
An official from the Saemangeum Environmental Ecology Complex Management Team gave a positive evaluation of the on-site psychological support and expressed a commitment to continue supporting employees' psychological well-being every year.
A representative from the Buan County Mental Health Welfare Center stated, "We will continue to expand on-site psychological support (on-site counseling) so that field workers can improve their mental health and avoid psychological burnout." They added, "We will remain a reliable companion for all county residents, ready to stand by their side whenever they are struggling emotionally."
