He discussed ways to ensure prompt civil complaint handling and provide reliable administrative services.
Mayor Lee stated, "Civil complaint work is the most important means for communicating with citizens," and added, "Prompt and accurate handling of civil complaints is essential to enhancing trust in administration." He also emphasized the need for smooth communication and cooperation between departments in response to the increasingly diverse and complex demands and complaints of citizens.
He also stressed the importance of personal information management and information security. Referring to recent cases of personal information leakage at public institutions, Mayor Lee said, "Even minor carelessness can lead to major incidents, so please make every effort to thoroughly manage personal information."
Additionally, Mayor Lee remarked, "A city's competitiveness depends on how many quality jobs it can create," and called for the organic linkage between the ongoing research on the '2030 Basic Plan for Future Goyang-Style Jobs' and the 'G-Nomics Five-Year Economic Development Strategy.'
In particular, he highlighted the need for strategic connections to ensure that the city's major urban development and industrial projects—such as the KINTEX 3rd Exhibition Hall, the promotion of an Economic Free Zone, and the creation of a smart city—lead to job creation.
