Distributor Showbox announced on March 5 that director Yeon Sang-ho's new film "Swarm" will be released in May. Jun Ji-hyun plays Kwon Sejeong, a biotechnologist isolated inside the building. The mysterious man at the center of the incident, Seo Youngcheol, is played by Koo Kyohwan, while Choi Hyunseok, a security officer fighting against the infected, is portrayed by Ji Changwook. The cast also includes Shin Hyunbin, Kim Shin-rok, and Ko Soo, adding to the film's tension.
