This project is fully funded by Jeollanam-do and is operated by Jeonnam Development Corporation on commission. The Jeonnam Housing Welfare Center is responsible for receiving applications and providing support services.
Through this project, Jeollanam-do provided a total of 150 million won in 2025 (for 150 individuals) as living stabilization funds for jeonse fraud victims, offering substantial assistance to affected residents in stabilizing their lives.
In accordance with the Special Act on Jeonse Fraud, residents recognized as victims receive a one-time payment of 1 million won per person in their lifetime. The aim is to help those experiencing difficulties due to jeonse fraud regain stability and rebuild their daily lives.
Eligible applicants are residents whose damaged property is located within Jeollanam-do and who are registered as residents of Jeollanam-do as of the application date.
However, to prevent duplicate support and ensure efficient budget execution, some individuals are excluded from eligibility.
If the applicant has moved to a residence located in another city or province, they are not eligible for this support. Those who have already received moving expenses or living stabilization funds as jeonse fraud victims from Jeollanam-do between 2023 and 2025 are also excluded. However, if the previously received support was less than 1 million won, additional support can be provided up to the difference.
Meanwhile, Jeollanam-do plans to open a "Jeonse Fraud Victim Support Center" at the Suncheon Eastern Regional Headquarters to provide systematic and professional assistance to victims of jeonse fraud.
After the center opens, counseling and support for jeonse fraud victims and the provision of living stabilization funds will be handled separately, establishing a faster and more efficient support system.
