Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province is launching the "2026 Elementary School Enrollment Celebration Fund Program" to alleviate the educational expenses of families with first-grade elementary school students in the region and to promote educational welfare.

View original imageThis program is available to applicants who have legal guardians registered with the same household as the child and whose resident registration is in Yangju City, as well as to foreign students who have registered Yangju City as their place of stay.
The support amount is 200,000 won per student, which can be received either as a Yangju Sarang Card (local currency) or by direct deposit to a bank account, according to the recipient's choice. The fund can be used for a variety of expenses, such as purchasing supplies needed for the school enrollment process, and is expected to ease the financial burden on families.
Applications will be accepted until June 4, and can be submitted either online (through Subsidy24) or in person at the administrative welfare center of the applicant's registered address in Yangju.
