The target area for the 2026 cadastral re-survey project is the Achiul 2 District, which covers 269 parcels with a total area of 95,588 square meters in the vicinity of the housing complex north of the Taegeukgi Hill on Achasan in Acheon-dong, Guri City. The project budget of 64,817,000 won will be fully funded by the national government.
At this residents' briefing session, the city provided explanations and publicity on the need for the cadastral re-survey project and its implementation plan, as well as on the criteria for boundary setting, the method of calculating adjustment payments, the composition and role of the landowners' council, and the procedures for promoting the project.
Guri City plans to promptly secure the consent of at least two-thirds of the landowners within the project district, then apply to Gyeonggi Province for designation of the project district, and carry out cadastral re-survey measurements through the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, which is the responsible implementing agency.
After conducting the cadastral re-survey measurements and a survey of the current status of the land, the city will proceed with boundary agreements among landowners and the installation of temporary boundary markers. It will then finalize the boundaries through deliberation and resolution by the Guri City Boundary Determination Committee, following a process of collecting opinions in accordance with the notification of the planned finalization of the cadastral boundaries.
If the land area increases or decreases as a result of the finalized boundaries, adjustment payments will be paid or collected in accordance with the Special Act on Cadastral Resurvey.
