"Connect Your Own Device in the Car"... Harman Launches 'Ready StreamShare' Vehicle Solution
From Driver-Centric Systems to Individual Connectivity
Simultaneous Connection for Up to Four Users, Personalized Listening Zones
Transforming Vehicles into Intelligent Hubs, Maintaining In-Car Communication
Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics and a company specializing in automotive electronics, has launched the 'Harman Ready StreamShare,' an integrated audio and communication solution designed for multi-user environments inside vehicles.
According to Harman on January 14, unlike conventional driver-centric single-source vehicle audio systems, Harman Ready StreamShare features centralized management of multiple personal device audio streams and communications via a central in-vehicle hub. This allows each passenger to maintain a personalized listening environment, while also enabling media sharing and continued conversation when needed.
This solution supports simultaneous connection for up to four people, the creation of personal listening zones, ultra-low latency wireless headphone-based listening, and hands-free in-car conversation while wearing headphones. It is also equipped with a 'Driver Announcement' feature, which enables the driver to pause all streams and deliver announcements to passengers.

It is designed to maintain in-car communication in various scenarios, such as music sharing, group conversations, and driver announcements.
Zafar Razzacki, Product Management Director for Harman Ready StreamShare, stated, "Families riding in vehicles now expect cars to operate in a way that matches their personalized, highly connected, and shared digital lifestyles. Harman Ready StreamShare enables users to freely use their personal devices while sharing connectivity, making travel time a more enjoyable and practical experience."
Through this solution, Harman aims to transform vehicles into 'intelligent hubs' and support automakers in delivering scalable in-cabin experiences that meet user expectations. Compatibility with existing Harman automotive solutions has also been ensured, lowering the barriers to adoption.
