At a place where electricity is produced, love is now also being generated, warming the winter for the local community.
On December 24, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters (headed by Kwon Wontak) launched a joint labor-management campaign to promote the Love Fund and visited local welfare facilities to engage in volunteer activities, sharing the spirit of giving at the end of the year.

View original imageThe Love Fund is a donation program in which employees contribute monthly to support neighbors in need. In this campaign to promote the Love Fund, Kwon Wontak, Head of Wolsong Nuclear Power Headquarters, and Ahn Cheolbeom, Chairman of the Headquarters Labor Union, participated together to promote and expand the fund.
After the campaign, they visited Bomun Forest Fragrance Group Home, a small-scale elderly care welfare facility, where they spent time with the residents through conversation, held a Santa event, and organized various programs to share warmth with the elderly. They also delivered a donation of 3 million won.

On December 12, Wolsong Headquarters was selected as a certified institution for community contribution by the Korea National Council on Social Welfare for the second consecutive year, and also received a special award from the Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation, which included a prize of 1.5 million won. By adding a matching grant, a total of 3 million won was raised and used for this donation, further enhancing the meaning of sharing.
