Jangheung County Shares Outcomes of Rural Resources and Talent Development Pilot Projects
Jangheung County in Jeonnam shared the outcomes of its rural development pilot projects, which have focused on utilizing rural resources and fostering talent, and explored future directions.
On the previous day, Jangheung County announced that it held a performance report meeting on rural resources (living resources) and talent development at the Agricultural Technology Center, attended by around 60 farmers. This meeting was organized to review the results of the 2025 rural development pilot projects and to discuss the direction for the 2026 projects.
During the meeting, there were presentations on the achievements of each pilot project and exemplary case studies. In the rural resources sector, participants included recipients of the rural development pilot project and graduates of the agricultural product processing support center’s entrepreneurship education program. In the talent development sector, graduates of the Agricultural University and Agricultural Academy, as well as young farmers, attended.
In the exemplary case presentations, Sun Kangrae, CEO of Geurang Kkerong, introduced the commercialization of agri-food experience kits. Kim Donggeon, CEO of Amalfi Farm, shared the entrepreneurial achievements of young farmers through the production and sale of powdered rice crackers. Lee Jeongran, CEO of Manine Farm, presented the operation of a therapeutic experience program, highlighting the potential of rural experience and therapeutic agriculture.

Park Gyehyeon, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "We will strive to boost farm household income and revitalize rural communities through experience-based and therapeutic agriculture utilizing rural resources, agri-food product commercialization, and support for young farmers’ entrepreneurship."
