Siheung Dream Market (Siheung Premium Outlet branch), operated by Gyeonggi-do Corporation, recorded sales of 1.09 billion won as of the end of November. This marks an improvement compared to last year's 800 million won.
Opened in February 2017, Siheung Dream Market (Siheung Premium Outlet branch) is a local win-win cooperation store jointly operated by Gyeonggi-do Corporation and Siheung City. It promotes and sells products from a variety of local businesses, with about 15 small and medium-sized enterprises from the province actively selling their goods. In particular, since last year, a social economy hub store (031# Shop) has been established within the market, enabling offline sales for the social economy organization market expansion project conducted by Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggi-do Corporation.
Siheung Dream Market set new record monthly sales twice, reaching 160 million won in September and 170 million won in October, combining both online and offline stores.
A Gyeonggi-do Corporation representative stated, "The store alone set new monthly market sales records, posting 78 million won in September, 83 million won in October, and 70 million won in November. Recently, high-quality products in food and beverages, apparel and accessories, and home and kitchen categories have gained popularity. The final flea market of the year, held on the 20th and 21st, was also met with great enthusiasm from consumers."
