Government Employees Pension Service Finalizes Selection of Three Bond Price Evaluation Institutions
NICE P&I, Korea Asset Pricing, and KIS Pricing Selected
The Government Employees Pension Service announced on the 23rd that it has finalized NICE P&I, Korea Asset Pricing, and KIS Pricing as the three institutions to provide bond price evaluation information.
Earlier this month, the pension service conducted an open bid to select the next bond evaluators, and a total of five bond evaluation firms were selected.
After evaluating proposals, including assessments of the appropriateness of evaluation methods and the expertise of each organization's personnel, three institutions were chosen. They will provide services for three years, from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028.
The bond price evaluation information provided by these firms includes domestic and international bond price data, over-the-counter derivatives price information, and related reference data for each security. The pension service evaluates financial assets, including bonds, at market value and discloses monthly investment returns.
