Kumho Petrochemical Yeosu Plant Holds 'Santa Sleigh Team Love Sharing' Event for People with Disabilities
Hope Gifts Worth 25 Million Won Delivered
to Over 270 Users of Facilities for People with Disabilities
Yeosu City, South Jeolla Province, announced that Kumho Petrochemical Yeosu Plant held the '2025 Santa Sleigh Team Love Sharing' event on the 22nd at the 10th-floor Art Hall of Saeyeosu Saemaeul Geumgo as part of sharing activities for people with disabilities in the local community.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Yeosu, the Chairman of the City Council, Jang Gapjong, Head of Kumho Petrochemical Yeosu Plant, Executive Director Lee Seungcheol, Choi Jongsun, Director of Yeosu Welfare Center for the Disabled, as well as around 300 people including people with disabilities who use the welfare center, their families, and staff.

The event included the presentation of a sponsorship certificate, a wish-hanging activity, a Christmas gift ceremony, and a celebratory performance by the Neoulgaji Choir.
Jang Gapjong, Head of Kumho Petrochemical Yeosu Plant, stated, "As a company that grows together with the local community, we have continued various sharing activities, including the Santa Sleigh Team initiative. We will continue our social contribution efforts to provide practical help to neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, Kumho Petrochemical Yeosu Plant has been holding sharing events for eight consecutive years since launching the Santa Sleigh Team initiative in 2018, and has contributed to the improvement of local welfare through various social contribution projects such as providing free dentures to low-income middle-aged and elderly residents and donating supplies to social welfare facilities.
