This year, new barefoot walking trails were created in a total of 24 locations: 6 in the eastern region, 8 in the western region, 4 in the southern region, and 6 in the central region. Major newly established trails include Songbangcheon Park, Dongtan Lake Park, Sannaeum Park, Seonnap Forest Park, Namyang No.1 Neighborhood Park, Sunoeul Central Park, Bongdam Ecological Sports Park, and Bangchuk Park.
The city created eco-friendly barefoot walking trails tailored to the usage characteristics and surrounding environment of each park, and also installed convenience facilities such as foot-washing stations to enhance user convenience.
The city plans to further expand barefoot walking trails and establish systematic maintenance and management measures, reflecting citizen demand and usage patterns.
