"Woori WON Wallet" Launches Year-End Event for New and Returning Customers
Woori Bank announced on December 19 that its "Woori WON Wallet" service received the Grand Prize in the Finance category at the "Smart App Awards 2025" ceremony, held at the El Tower Grand Hall in Yangjae on December 18.
The "Smart App Awards" is the most prestigious mobile app awards ceremony in Korea, with a judging panel of over 4,000 leading domestic internet experts. The awards recognize outstanding services that demonstrate innovation and excellence.
"Woori WON Wallet" was awarded the Grand Prize in the Finance category for its high marks in user convenience and customer-centric UX/UI innovation.
"Woori WON Wallet" is a service that aggregates essential daily convenience and public (government) information and provides it to individual customers in the form of a digital wallet. In June, the service underwent a complete renewal, strengthening its personalized features based on user patterns and preferences. It now offers about 20 lifestyle-focused services, including mobile ID verification, digital badges (career certification), and smart boarding passes.
Meanwhile, starting from December 16 and running for about a month, Woori Bank is holding a prize event for new and returning "Woori WON Wallet" customers. Participants will have the chance to win various prizes through a draw.
