Wonju City in Gangwon Province will accept applications for the '2026 Military Noise Damage Compensation' from January to February next year.

View original imageThe military noise damage compensation is provided to residents of noise control areas designated and announced by the Ministry of National Defense in accordance with the Military Noise Compensation Act.
On-site applications will be accepted from January 5 to 30 at the Taejang 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center, and from February 2 to 13 at the Socho-myeon and Hojeo-myeon Administrative Welfare Centers, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Online applications can be submitted via the Government24 website. Detailed information, including application forms, can be found on the city's website.
The compensation payment decision will be notified by the end of May after review by the Wonju City Noise Control Review Committee, and individual payments are scheduled to be made by the end of August.
