"Science is Easy!"... Hanul Headquarters Operates Atom Engineering Classroom 2025
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Director Lee Seyong) operated the experiential science education program "Atom Engineering Classroom 2025" for 418 fourth and fifth-grade elementary school students in Uljin-gun from December 16 to 18.
This year's program involved a total of four schools and included activities such as "Building a Train that Floats with Magnetic Force" and "Making a Bluetooth Speaker."
Employees of Hanul Headquarters participated as one-day instructors, helping students understand scientific principles with explanations tailored to their level, and making it easy and fun to learn the basics of electronic engineering through hands-on kit assembly exercises.
One student who took part in the class said, "It was amazing to build a magnetic levitation train that I had only seen in books, and I want to participate again next year with my classmates." An employee who served as a one-day instructor shared, "I was energized by the students' curiosity, and it was rewarding and enjoyable to see their knowledge expand through my explanations. I have supported this program consistently for three years now, and I hope to continue participating in the future."
