Song Hyejin of 'Eunjung and Sangyeon' Wins Drama Category at Korea Broadcasting Writers Awards
Current Affairs and Culture Award Goes to Jo Junghwa of '60 Minutes'
Song Hyejin, the writer of the Netflix original series 'Eunjung and Sangyeon,' has been selected as the winner in the drama category at the 38th Korea Broadcasting Writers Awards.
The Korea Broadcasting Writers Association announced the winners of the 38th Korea Broadcasting Writers Awards on December 17. This year's awards recognized writers across various genres, including drama, current affairs and culture, entertainment, and radio.
In the current affairs and culture category, Jo Junghwa, writer of KBS's '60 Minutes: Twenty Years Have Passed - The Reclusive Middle-Aged,' was selected as the winner. In the entertainment category, Kim Taehui, writer of JTBC's 'Travelers at 25 O'Clock,' and Jung Sunyoung, writer of MBN's 'Divorced Singles' and Netflix's 'Born Single But Want to Date,' will share the award.
In the radio category, Lee Eunyoung, writer of SBS's 'Park Yeonmi's Money Lab,' and Jang Seungi, writer of KBS's 'Lee Hyunwoo's Music Album,' were selected as winners.
The Korea Broadcasting Writers Awards were established to enhance the quality of broadcasting culture and to encourage writers' creativity, with the unique feature that the winners are selected by their fellow writers. The association plans to present the winners with plaques and creative support grants, as well as publish a collection of the winning works.

The awards ceremony will be held on December 18 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
